The Infinite Possibilities of the Space Between
I have always been obsessed about the space between. The space between everything.
The space between things is where everything happens. It is where understanding and misunderstanding lives, where relationships are born, where time exists, where lives are lived. The space in between things is in fact what we see, what we feel. At every scale it’s the space between that is critical.
From this “the infinite possibilities of the space between” developed. Read the full interview with Paul on The Gloss website.

The Absorption Series
A continuous series of paintings focusing on the power of the horizon. Inspired by the view out beyond Dublin Bay. Each piece is a study of the relationship between the sky, the sea and the land in some form and the power of the horizon point where they meet. And our fascination with this fictitious place (see Barry Henry piece in Words section) and the ever changing reflection and absorption of light above and below the horizon. Always moving.
